We're proud to share that the Carmel-by-the-Sea crew has equipped their brand-new
Pierce fire apparatus with our FT-4x6-HL-KIT headlights. The new rig arrived in April, replacing a hardworking 2009 Pierce that had been handling every call until recently. The upgrade has been met with enthusiastic feedback from the entire crew.
Captain Ocon highlighted a key reason for choosing these headlights: many of their response areas lack street lighting entirely. In those dark, rural, or residential zones, reliable visibility can make all the difference during nighttime emergencies. The FT-4x6-HL-KIT delivers powerful, clear illumination that helps firefighters navigate safely, spot hazards early, and arrive at scenes with confidence.
The team reports that the new headlights represent a significant improvement over the previous setup. Brighter output, better beam pattern, and overall durability make the FT-4x6-HL-KIT an ideal match for the demands of modern fire apparatus.
